After a long fought battle trying to make electronic pop music in Logic Pro X, Sonny Joon producer, j.syvers finally made the full jump into Ableton, not just for live performances, but as a fully fledged DAW.

What may seem like a small shift in workflow ended up transforming the music-making process for vocalist (Sarah Larson) who fronts the indie-electro project with her keeping-myself-honest lyrics and pop instincts.

”I think I’m finally able to say what I want to, in the way that I want to, with this project. Jake and I have written together in many forms, but this one feels like the most of me that has ever been involved. I’m not trying to be someone or emulate a sound. It’s more just getting the best version of what’s already coming out.”

Often compared to Purity Ring, CHVRCHES, or Sylvan Esso, this pop sound will get you moving and crying all at the same time.
